Description
Equipped with a GMT hand, this watch features Grand Seiko’s Spring Drive calibre, uniquely pioneered by Seiko Watch Corporation’s watchmakers. Spring Drive generates energy like a conventional mechanical watch with a mainspring but combines this with an electronic regulator to deliver superior precision, never requiring a battery change.
In Spring Drive, the second-hand moves in perfect glide motion, reflecting the natural and continuous flow of time itself. It has a 72-hour power reserve, and a power reserve indicator on the bottom left of the dial.
By placing a simple 24-hour scale inside the classical rail track scale, we designed the watch to maintain a formal style with an additional feature of a GMT indicator. To underscore the texture of the material, a white-plated hand that stands out against the black dial is used for the 24-hour hand. This adds a sophisticated taste and high visibility to the watch.
