Due to the popularity of this design, this dress watch has become a standing favourite in the elegance collection. Fusing Japanese aesthetics from artisan lacquer craftsmanship with Grand Seiko’s watchmaking precision, the result is a beautifully wearable, accurate timepiece.
The dial decoration has been created by hand using ancient maki-e and urushi techniques created by Japanese artisans. Only Joboji lacquer from the Iwate prefecture is used – from the birthplace of the Grand Seiko manual winding 9S movement.
