This model is powered by the Spring Drive movement, uniquely pioneered by Seiko Watch Corporation’s watchmakers. Spring Drive generates energy like a conventional mechanical watch with a mainspring but combines this with an electronic regulator to deliver superior precision, never requiring a battery change.

The second hand moves in perfect glide motion, reflecting the natural and continuous flow of time itself. Spring Drive is only available in Seiko Watch corporation timepieces.

The watch face and multi-faceted hands and hour markers seem to change depending on the angle and amount of light, giving this watch its eternal appeal. Wearers of this watch can enjoy a clear view of the movement through the see-through case back.
